MLM Prospecting: How to Easily Connect with Lots of People

Did you realize that certain Oysters have a lot of pearls in them? Pearls are valuable, but not every oyster has pearls, only a select few.  In order to find the few oysters with pearls, you have to sort many many oysters until you find the ones you're looking for.  In this post I'm going to share some ideas on MLM Prospecting and how to easily connect with lots of people.  Why? Because you're going to have to sort through a lot of people that have no pearls until you find the few that do.

MLM Prospecting is Like Sorting Oysters

I used to be in the financial services industry and the top producers call literally hundreds of leads a day and get hung up on or insulted hundreds of times a day.  But for the few brokers who realize it's a number's game, they keep dialing for dollars knowing that there are some oysters with a lot of pearls out there.  They keep dialing and sorting. "Not Interested?"  Next!

Can you work 1-2 Hours a Day - Really Work?
If you were to ask the top earners in the Network Marketing Industry, you'd find that if they talk to 20 people a day, they are "REALLY" working hard. And if they were to call or talk to 20 people a day, 5 days a week, then you can be certain they are 7 Figure Earners a year.

It takes approximately 2 minutes to dial a number and leave a message.  If you talked to only 10 of those people, and did 1-2 presentations a day, you would make 6 figures in a year or two.

What Do You Say?

Your approach has to be based on the type of people you're talking to obviously.  One of my all time "go-to" scripts is from Todd Falcone.  Suppose I did an internet search for Realtors. Buy the way, the typical Realtor in America sells one or two houses a year, and are open to income producing opportunities, especially those that create residual income.  You find their number and call. "Hi Bob, my name is Greg King and I found your name on the internet. Bob, you look like a professional guy, I'm kind of in a hurry, but wondered if I could ask you a quick question?"  SURE.  "Bob, do you at all keep your options open for making money on the side if it didn't interfere with what you're presently doing?"  Bob will say, either No, or "Depends on what it is."

As I mentioned, I'm kind of in a hurry right now so I can't go into details. I'm expanding one of my businesses in your area and looking for a few good people to see if what we have might be a good fit or not.  When is a good time that we can schedule to visit for 15 minutes or so?  It's always best if you can meet in person, but over the phone is fine.  We'll talk about how to do a phone interview in another post.

This is just one example of a script that you can memorize and make natural.  Book the appointment, see if Bob has what you're looking for. Remember, you're sorting oysters.  Bob might not have the pearls you're looking for.  Do this 10-20 times a day and you're on your way to building a very successful business.

I wish I had more time to go into detail on scripts, but Todd Falcone has one of the best script books I can recommend.  Get his free course, sign up for his videos and learn from him. He also has a fabulous course I personally took on Insider Secrets to Recruiting Professionals.   Take a peek at Todd's site and look at some of his courses.  They are really good.  CLICK HERE
